Congratulations to Hayes Blackstone and Kapil Nathan!

Congratulations to our own Hayes Blackstone and Kapil Nathan, along with our other Hilltop Montessori chess players that competed in the state championship over spring break. Hayes’ team earned second in the state in the club division. Hayes also earned the individual second place trophy in the primary division.

Kapil’s team of 4 WON FIRST PLACE in the Alabama state championship for chess in the primary division.

Hilltop Montessori School is proud to announce that three of our student alumni have been named 2013 National Merit Finalists! National Merit scholars are determined by scores on the preliminary SAT and represent less than 1% of all United States high school students. Congratulations: Olivia Dure, Abby Furman and Christine Greve!
