All parents are members of the PTO and are invited to the monthly PTO meetings. All meetings will begin at 8:45 am in the multi-purpose room. Meeting minutes and an email archive are posted in our password protected parent area throughout the year.

Fundraising

PTO holds several fund-raisers annually in order to provide for the continuing needs of our school. There are several ways parents help with fundraising that are fast, easy, and even free... be sure to collect your Bruno's green receipts, use your Publix Partners card (if you need one, check with Shiela in the office), save box tops, and use GoodSearch.

Where does the money go? PTO is committed to helping each classroom throughout the year. The PTO voted in April 2009 to approve $4500 for Hilltop to purchase our first "Smart Board" for the Upper Elementary class.  Hilltop's 5-year strategic plan calls for SMART boards to be in both LE, the UE and the Middle School classrooms and possibly the music room. Many schools that Hilltop students go on to attend have this technology, so in addition to enriching their experience at Hilltop, it will leave them prepared for the technology they will encounter after leaving us. We are also committed to replacing any desktops in our classrooms that are more than seven years old.
